Online Ergonomics Advisor
The Online Ergonomics Advisor helps agencies address the ergonomics issues that arise in their office areas.
Workplace ergonomics is the science and practice of designing jobs or workplaces to match the capabilities and limitations of the human body, or more simply: fitting the job to the person rather than the person to the job. Effective ergonomics practices can help agencies reduce workers' compensation claims and improve productivity while providing employees with a pain-free work experience.
The Online Ergonomics Advisor has three components:
- Workstation evaluation
- Symptom analysis
- Stretching exercise guide
This interactive application can be used to address individual ergonomics issues or as a part of a comprehensive ergonomics plan.
